“Rhesus Monkeys (Macaca mulatta), Video Tasks, and Implications for Stimulus-Response Spatial Contiguity” shows Rhesus monkeys can learn the complex relation between movement of a joystick and movement of the cursor on the screen, even when the joystick is moved up to 18 cm away from the screen.
