Protozoa Games (2003)
“Protozoa Games” uses a digital microscope to track the activities of a variety of live single celled organisms and projects the captured images on a projection screen. Simultaneously visitors are invited to engage in various movement games in front of the screen, like syncing your movements with those of the live organisms using motion detection technology. Another game has the goal to move the organism toward a target area in their environment. The visitor can turn on lights on the sides of the petri dish to influence the phototropic organism, or yell/sing/talk into microphones on either side.
