Project Description

Augmented Fish Reality (2004)

“Augmented Fish Reality” is an interactive installation of 5 robotic fish-bowl sculptures inhabited by Siamese fighting fish. By swimming to an edge of the bowl, the fish moves the sculpture in the corresponding direction. This lets the fish get within a centimetre of each other, allowing the normally aggressive fish to interact without killing each other and explore their environment beyond the limits of the fish-bowls.
